Witch camp documentary is still ongoing…

Richard Siaw Uncategorized

As updated on our Instagram pages on our latest project; fear of the unknown, a documentary shooting in partnership with the Buquist and Kente entertainment, we are still in post production stages of our first phase.

The second phase however, will involve the dramatizations which will involve the VOIICEwood and some other chosen actors.

Shooting at the Gambaga witch camp was an emotional and eye opening experience. We were surprised to hear there were children at the camp as well. We were in shock of the things we found out at this camp. One of the officials in charge of the camp complained about the false stories told out there from documentaries about the camps which has given us priority to give the world the raw truth about these camps; creating awareness and bringing to change to the lives of these marginalized persons. Our visit to the Accra Psychiatric hospital with Dr. Ramata Seidu was indeed very eye opening. Mental health being of such importance to the wellbeing of a person is ignored and misunderstood in our society. What stuck with me was, for the fear of the unknown, people associate issues that cannot be tangibly explained to evil spirits which causes them to demonize persons based upon their own lack of understanding of them. We hope for a better society, a better world where people begin to listen and have conversations that will help us treat other people who are different from us with love and empathy ESPECIALLY when we DONT understand them. @voiicefoundation @voiicecommunity @afrikofnature_studios @buquistentertainment @kenteentertainment #fearoftheunknown

@voiicefoundation Eventhough we believe that real change comes from the change of hearts and minds of people so that the generations that come after us wouldn’t have to face the violence others face today for being the misunderstood minority, it’s always a privilege to be able to support monetarily and provisionally. We are absolutely grateful for those who sent in their donations and the @buquistentertainment and the @kenteentertainment for having to dig deep in their coffers to supplement these donations which we so hoped could do much more. Bless your hearts for having empathy for those that are never considered by the government and majority Shot by @afrikofnature_studios #fearoftheunknown #aged #agism #mentalhealth #ghanawitchcraft
